Boys and grumpiness are two things our family knows a bit about. Contrary to popular belief, boys have a lot of emotions and expressions. They can even be dramatic. (Gasp!) Without knowing much about the story, I was excited to see that Finegan Kruckemeyer’s The Grumpiest Boy in the World addressed the emotional self of boys.
Love at first sight. These beauties are at the Phoenix Art Museum gift shop. Behind glass. Because they cost about $10 per triangle. Even so, they have become my heart’s desire, my dream bag. Whatever I might need to carry – it will fit and look gorgeous doing it. The designer is Issey Miyake, one who was featured in the museum’s Avant-Garde Fashion exhibit earlier this year.
Of the probably 5,000 things we saw at Antique Trove on Scottsdale Road, my son wanted this typewriter the most. Making this writer Mama happy 🙂
